1. Talk with your implementation team.   
   This team should be comprised of members of your organization, the vendor, and any other implementation support you have. If you have the right team, they will help guide you based on experience of other implementations. Your internal representatives can provide insight on the inner workings of your organization.
2. Review your organization’s calendar.   
   If your fiscal year doesn’t follow a calendar year, when does it end? How could an HCM system implementation impact those processes?
3. When is your company’s busy season?   
   Most have a few weeks or months that are busier than others. If you do the majority of your business in a few core months, that’s not going to be the best time to activate your new system.
